The zipper is all plastic with a stainless steel lockable slider that opens and shuts your suit. A pull string on the side keeps your chest zipper water tight just set to you body shape and forget remember its not a rip cord incase of emergency.
The seams of the suit are joined together by gluing the seams and blind stitching inside the suit, which is a small with stitch that holds the seam together, which is called GBS Glued and blind stitch. The outside of the suit is liquid sealed so that the seam is watertight. Any holes caused by the stitching on the inside will be filled in, this will make the suit watertight on the seams
